Santa Rita de Cascia Parish (the patron saint of impossible causes) in Gingoog City, Cagayan de Oro hosted the Pilot Alpha Course last August 22 to 24. What was thought to have been, due to these hard times, an impossible cause was made possible through the able guidance of Rev. Fr. Joel M. Lusat, SSJV, and the hardworking Alpha volunteers from Cagayan de Oro City.
Seventy (70) guests from the different BECs were able to complete the course. Their experiences were marked by different manifestations of our Lord’s love, from warm, wide smiles, to tears shed in grateful recognition of what our Lord has done for us.
We would like to thank Dr. Benie A. Sy, Regional Director for Alpha in Visayas and Mindanao for his tireless efforts in our Lord’s vineyard.
